Gurugram, the financial and technology hub of the national capital region, is going to host THINKBIG 2017, Asia’s largest women entrepreneurship and economic empowerment summit at Kingdom of Dreams, Sector 29, Gurugram on Monday, 13th November, 2017.Hon’ble Chief Minister of Haryana Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar is going to deliver the keynote address as the Chief Guest, along with Guests of Honour Sh. Suresh Prabhu, Hon’ble Union Minister for Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Sh. Amitabh Kant, IAS, CEO, Niti Aayog, Sh. Vipul Goel, Hon’ble Minister for Industries & Commerce, Government of Haryana, Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh, IAS Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, Haryana amongst others.
The summit aims at connecting with Indian and Global Corporations, Medium & Small Businesses to open doors to future trade and collaboration. The one-day event aims to bridge the gap between companies and women entrepreneurs and establish successful collaborations through strategic partnerships. It aims to bring together women entrepreneurs, corporate buyers, government, industry mentors, women industry associations, investors and media to inspire and empower women entrepreneurs by connecting them with Big and Small corporate.
Speaking on the occasion, Sh. Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, said, “We are proud to be the host of the prestigious THINKBIG 2017. The state has achieved significant milestones in its endeavour as a hub for industrial products as well as start-ups; this is evident from the fact that Haryana today is a major contributor to the GDP of our country.”

The 2017 edition of the summit will be the fifth ThinkBig in succession of the previous four summits that took place in Bengaluru and New Delhi, from 2013 to 2016, and will be a part of the run-up to the 7th edition of Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) in 2017, ‘Road to GES’ series. The United States of America and Republic of India are jointly hosting the GES 2017 in Hyderabad, India, from November 28 to 30.ThinkBig 2017 will enable women attendees to showcase their businesses and leverage the knowledge and connections of other attendees to pursue potential financial and non-financial partnerships through various modules. The summit will be hosted by Thinkthrough Consulting in partnership with WEConnect International.
