Get ready, gamers: India’s ultimate gaming tournament TEGC is back

The most awaited Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup (TEGC) kicks off soon with pro gaming’s biggest ever prize pot up for grabs. In its fifth year, the Cup is bigger, better and promises to pack a punch as players converge upon different locations across India to fight it out in epic battles.

TEGC 2018 will offer a versatile collection of games including PubG along with Dota2 and CS GO. The field will officially be laid out on July 16 as the elimination rounds for the pan India championship begin with an impressive line-up of cities including Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata. The grand finale will take place in Mumbai on October 19thand 20th, which will see a total of 8 CS GO teams and 8 DOTA 2 teams.

Most importantly, Taiwan Excellence will give the finale winners of DOTA 2 and CS GO the golden opportunity to fly to Taiwan to witness the best of technology first-hand. The winners will get a chance like never before to visit the country that is the ultimate destination for gaming and get a personal experience of the technology.

This year, TEGC will challenge gamers to battle it out for the most coveted cup and winners will take home a cumulative cash prize of Rs.10 Lakh. Leading Taiwanese brands like MSI, Gigabyte, Dlink, Cooler Master, Zowie, Avermedia, ASUS, ACER,Silicon Power, Team Group, Transcend and many more will be showcasing their cutting-edge gaming products during the finale at Mumbai.

TEGC is a name to reckon with in India’s gaming circuit because it comes from Taiwan—the Mecca of Gaming. Taiwan boasts of some of the best gaming brands, technology, products and accessories and is a paradise for gamers. By participating in TEGC, gamers get a chance to experience the best of gaming technology that was ever made. It is considered a major stepping-stone for professional gamers who can then go on to participate in international gaming tournaments.

As a part of TEGC, a special TE Rig will also be flagged off from Mumbai on July 19ththat will showcase some sterling products encompassing gaming, ICT, home and living – each bearing the hallmark of Taiwan Excellence that stands for brilliance in technology. The TE Rig will cruise through several cities across India to give people a first-hand experience of the awesome technology from Taiwan.
