Diwali is not just a festival of lights, it’s a joyous occasion where you celebrate goodness and express your gratitude. It’s an odd mixture of New Year and Thanksgiving done in an Indian fervour. It’s an act of kindness and generosity and opening up your doors to be one big family.

Exide Bat Mobile, the doorstep battery service solution provider by Exide Industries seeks to entrap this concept of Diwali in this festive season. This spirit of togetherness and celebrating with one’s friends and family has been highlighted in their new ad film #TheDiwaliInvite

Celebrating the Essence of Diwali

The ad filmmakers understood that the essence of Diwali lies in celebrating the festival with one and all – with anyone and everyone. Thus when a Bat Mobile service person visits a customer on the day of Diwali, the bonhomie of it starts a new conversation, a new relationship.

In the one and a half minute long ad film the true feeling of celebrating the festival and spreading its warmth was captured by Wunderman Thompson South Asia. The film rightly proclaims how acknowledging the efforts of all brightens up our lives, eradicating all darkness.

 Touching the Lives of People

Commenting on the film, Arjun Mukherjee, VP & ECD, Wunderman Thompson, Kolkata, who conceptualised the script says, “The challenge was how to instil an emotional high into a service that touches the lives of people every single day. Probably there’s no better occasion than Diwali, a festival that’s rooted in the spirit of kindness and togetherness, to do that. And sometimes spreading warmth means appreciating and thanking the efforts of all those who always turn up to make our lives easier.”

#TheDiwaliInvite is the creation of Wunderman Thompson  which has been already released online on 11th November, on the occasion of Diwali. The film is directed by Dibyendu Bose.
