Conceptualised by the Mumbai team of 82.5 Communications, formerly known as Soho Square, an Ogilvy Group company, the Bisleri Camels campaign bagged top honours at Star Re-Imagine Awards, winning the award for excellence in creativity (Best Creative TV).
The VIVO IPL 2019 saw the participation of over 300 brands across TV and digital platforms, of which 10 outstanding creative pieces were shortlisted.
And the beloved Bisleri camels brought home the glory in the TV category.
The campaign comprising 3 TVCs has already garnered a lot of attention because of its unique brand ambassadors, simple and clutter breaking communication.
Speaking about the campaign, Anuraag Khandelwal, ECD and Creative Head (Mumbai), 82.5 Communications, said, “I would like to thank all the judges and the Star Re-Imagine team for this most coveted award. Personally, this campaign is very close to my heart. Creating the Bisleri camels has been by far the most satisfying experience for me and the entire team. I must admit that winning the IPL Vivo Best Creative on TV has left me hungry for more! And with over 60 million views across various digital platforms, I hope we keep winning more hearts and awards.”
Sumanto Chattopadhyay, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer, 82.5 Communications, said, “This one is truly special as it is the first major creative award for 82.5 Communications.”
Anjana Ghosh, Director – Marketing, Bisleri International, said, “Our continued efforts culminated in Bisleri being voted for the first time as the most trusted brand across all categories. Now, winning this prestigious award is a very proud moment for all of us. It’s the cherry on top! Especially since the VIVO IPL is like the Super Bowl of India where the best ads are aired.”
