Hungama Artist Aloud associates with Concern India Foundation’s Roshni

Roshni is a music and talent show for the differently-abled and Hungama Artist Aloud, a platform that supports and promotes independent content associates with Concern India Foundation for Roshni which is its annual beneficiary event. The first virtual edition of Roshni will be featured this year. Roshni event, a music and talent show for special children and youth, showcases the artistic abilities of differently-abled children from various special schools across Mumbai. The event will be available to stream on the YouTube channels of Hungama Artist Aloud and Concern India Foundation on 20th March 2021, from 7 pm onwards.

Eight different schools will be participating with 80 children in the event and sharing their talent.  These schools include Save the Children, AAISHA, Sashi Mangalyam, A K Munshi, SPJ Sadhana, Jai Vakeel, Punarvas and Lions Juhu. Devraj Sanyal has been part of this journey for the second year now providing encouragement to all participants and Furtado’s School of Music has been supporting this event two years in a row in prizes that will promote the musical development of all the participants.

Speaking about the event, Soumini Sridhara Paul, Senior Vice President, Hungama Artist Aloud said, “There is immense talent in the country and it is important for us to provide a platform to everyone to showcase their talent. All participants in Roshni are extremely gifted and their passion for their craft is infectious. We are thrilled to work with Concern India Foundation on a concept as novel as this and are certain that the viewers will appreciate the talent of these children as well.”

Manisha Desai, Director at Concern India Foundation said, “It’s always so gratifying to see the enthusiasm and smiles on these beautiful children and students.  Despite the pandemic and change in the nature of the event, we are so happy to have so many participants.  We are also very grateful to our judges and supporters who have helped us put this version of Roshni together!”

Roshni will be available to stream on Concern India Foundation and Hungama Artist Aloud’s YouTube channels on 20th March 2021, from 7 pm onwards.
