CNN-News18 garners 29% viewership in week 15-18, 2022

CNN-News18 has cemented its position as the number one English news channel in the country, racing ahead of Republic TV and Times Now. As per the BARC data (week 15-18’2022), CNN-News18 has garnered a 29% viewership market share in the India urban+rural (AB15+ segment).

CNN-News18 has also outdone the competition by registering a massive share of 37.3% in the English News Market Share BARC data, (TG+22 week 15-18’2022), leaving behind Republic TV and Times Now with 28.7% and 18.5% respectively.

CNN-News18’s continuous run as the leader in the BARC rating is a testimony of the audience’s faith in the channel. This also speaks volumes of how the viewer today prefers news over noise. CNN-NEWS18 has been relentlessly reporting on National and International issues, without any bias and ensuring coverage of all points of view, which has helped the channel set new benchmarks in the news broadcasting sector.
