With a view to boosting the jewellery and gem industry ahead of the Diwali festive season, GJPEC has launched a new series of short films that will help retailers and customers this Dhanteras.
The films emphasize a range of gifting solutions on different day-to-day occasions and how gold and diamond investment are a good option. The films are divided into 2 categories – gold and diamond jewellery, taking the message of each type of jewellery with 5 films on each.
This series of 10 promotional short films are exclusively designed for IIJSC jewelers so that they can reach out to a wider audience, amidst the pandemic.
Commenting on this initiative Colin Shah, Chairman, GJEPC, said, “Covid has dramatically changed the retail experience. And as we head into the biggest jewelry-buying period of the year, consumers with sizeable discretionary income are being wooed by a dazzling array of high-end products with big promotional budgets, such as cars, electronics, and appliances. It’s imperative for the jewelry category to stand out in this festive melee. Through its series of commercial films, the GJEPC is driving the message of ‘gold as an investment’ and ‘diamond jewelry as the ultimate gifting option’ this Dhanteras. Retailers must pitch in and take full advantage of this opportunity to reach out to their customers to not just retain, but grow jewelry’s share of the consumer’s wallet.”
It’s a vast promotional campaign to help jewellers attract customers of all bases and hence is dubbed into regional languages like Bengali, Gujarati, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Telegu, etc. This ensures the pan Indian outreach of the original Hindi commercial.
GJEPC is offering these promotional films to their partner Retailers at a nominal processing fee of 2000 INR per film which is inclusive of GST. Jewellery brands can promote themselves and connect with new customers by incorporating their logo in the films.
