Karur Vysya Bank has announced a donation of Rupees Two Crores to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The unprecedented heavy downpour since Monday has badly affected the lives and properties of the residents of Chennai and several parts of the State. As a responsible corporate citizen, the bank is duty-bound to stand by the State in this hour of crisis to reach relief to the affected persons. The amount will shortly be handed over to the Government authorities concerned.
