SAB TV India’s family entertainment channel brought smiles on the faces of underprivileged children this Christmas. Dev Joshi who plays the title role of Baalveer celebrated Christmas with the children from a local NGO called Society for Human and Environment Development (SHED) yesterday. Dev who was dressed up as Santa Claus engaged he children by playing games like musical chairs, passing the parcel and also danced with them. The character of Baalveer is that of a child superhero, the one fighting for the safety of kids from evil, the same was virtually at display at the NGO. He spent hours talking and having fun with these underprivileged kids, teaching them some good values and manners. Baalveer sure has been in the ‘nice’ & not ‘naughty’ list of Santa this year!
SAB TV in fact celebrated Chritsmas through the week. Some economically disadvantaged kids from another NGO were also invited to their office for a meet and greet with Baal Pari, Sudeepa Singh and Tauba Tauba, Shreedhar Watsar from Baalveer. The children interacted with the actors, played games, posed for pictures and were also gifted essential requirements like school bags, blankets, sports items like cricket bats and footballs, grocery items as a Christmas surprise. The children who are big fans of Baalveer were delighted to meet their favorite characters and interact pictures with them.
