The India Today Conclave 2016 will host sessions from global experts on terrorism, the world’s biggest threat today. Three different points of view will be put forward, as the Conclave brings together an ISIS survivor, and ISIS journalist and a counter-terrorism expert to debate the current global terrorism crisis. Brilliant minds, who have overcome overwhelming obstacles, will converge on this platform to offer insights on dealing with ISIS-linked terror attacks.
International speakers Daniel Rye Ottosen, a photographer and former ISIS hostage, Azadeh Moaveni, Journalist & Author of Lipstick Jihad, and Daniel Benjamin, Counter Terrorism Expert, will discuss and debate war, terrorism, counter-terrorism and its impact on the world today. Daniel Rye Ottosen will give his first-hand account of surviving the ISIS and living to tell the tale, while Azadeh Moaveni will talk about the very real threat posed by the Islamic State. Daniel Benjamin, the counter terrorism expert on the panel, will discuss the role of cyber world to counter terrorism. Dr. Ahmad Badr Ai-Din Hassoun, Grand Mufti of Syria, will provide the in-depth details on the sight of the storm and share straight talks from Syria.
With an entire session at the Conclave dedicated to ISIS and terrorism, the debate will be brought to a conclusion with the experts sharing their thoughts on the topic: ISIS Crossfire-Survive, Analyse, Combat.
