Hero Motocorp Ltd. is strengthening its presence in Centra America by appointing new distributors in the countries of Honduras and Nicaragua.
The motorcycle company is planning to launch its premium range of products in these countries with flagship stores and customer key points in the key market areas.
Grupo Casa Pellas is appointed as the exclusive distributor of Hero MotoCorp in the country. The distributor is a 107 years old company and is the biggest motorcycles, trucks, and cars company in Nicaragua.
Movesa S.A. is another distributing company that has been appointed by Hero MotoCorp as an exclusive distributor in Honduras. The company has 14 years of experience in the motorcycle industry.
Commenting on the development, Sanjay Bhan, Head, Global Business, Hero MotoCorp said “Honduras and Nicaragua are key markets for us in Central America and our expansion plans clearly showcase this. We are also very happy to have partners such as Grupo Casa Pellas and Movesa S.A. who will enable us to expand our footprint in both countries. Through our new products and extensive customer touch-points, we aim to reach out to the youth in these countries who are looking for premium and stylish two-wheelers.”
Hero MotoCorp will have its new range of products including XPulse 200 the new Hunk 160R (Xtreme 160R in India) in both Honduras and Nicaragua. Other than these Honduras will also see Hero’s other premium range of products such as Hunk 150, Eco 150, Hunk 160R, XPulse 200, and Hunk 190R. And, Nicaragua’s refreshed product portfolio will include Ignitor 125, XPulse 200 motorcycles, Splendor iSmart 110, Dash 125 scooter, Hunk 190R, Eco 150, Hunk 160R, Eco 150TR, and Hunk 150.
Both of Hero MotoCorp’s models Hunk 160R and XPulse 200 have already received an exceptional response from the customers of South America. The company will be providing a 4-year warranty on all its products along with parts or service availability.
