Hyundai’s #GrameenSanitization Campaign Is A Vision for Human Progress

With the pandemic raging everywhere, health and hygiene have become a core issue of day-to-day life. The stress on handwashing, disinfecting surfaces, and sanitizing things have become regular daily work.

Such is the condition that sanitation and disinfection have become the sole vocabulary in every conversation. Today, every business venture in the country is cashing in on this rising sanitation trend and is competing against one another to project a valuable healthcare alternative to run their businesses. Some are taking unique awareness missions while others are using technology to reach out to customers.

Hyundai Motor India Ltd., India’s first smart mobility solutions provider and the largest exporter since inception has launched a unique initiative to reach out to rural customers by doing a health awareness drive. 

Sanitization Campaign in Rural Areas

The company has launched a “Grameen Sanitization” drive under its prestigious ‘Hyundai Cares 2.0 initiative. this month-long awareness campaign will make the rural people aware of sanitation, cleanliness and disinfection, especially in times of a pandemic.

Hyundai’s sanitized vehicles will reach out to the people of more than 292 rural locations making them aware of the importance of Sanitization along with sanitizing and disinfecting public places like schools, rural mandis, nursing centres, Panchayat and government locations, sarpanch house, etc. 

A Vision for Human Progress

Commenting on this initiative, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director – Sales, Marketing & Service, said, “Taking our global vision of Progress for Humanity forward, we intend to extend more support to the COVID warriors in Tier III and IV towns and villages who have actively stood up and supported the entire community during this unprecedented times. As a Responsible & Caring brand, we aim to ensure the utmost safety for people and enable community welfare to fight with COVID-19 pandemic.”

Along with this, a Gratification Activity has been started by the company in order to honour frontline workers like health workers, village leaders, police. Hyundai’s effort to recognize these COVID warriors and its zeal to make people aware of cleanliness and good health & hygiene is in the right direction to create a covid free business solution and support.
