Promax India Conference and Awards 2020 got launched virtually
Promax’s 17th India edition of the Conference and Awards was launched with a theme ‘Re-Invent’. The edition came up in a new avatar where the speakers, delegates jury members, Media, and Marketing professionals, sponsors, and jury members celebrate innovation, creativity, and storytelling virtually.
Hosted by Cyrus Broacha the event was all started with ‘Trying to Get Ahead of the Curve’ by Gavin Strange. He spoke about the projects from filmmaking to illustration and toy design to photography. Then, the next in the event was a chat with Navika Kumar and Megha Tata, where they talked about their experiences and journey in the media landscape. Next, it was Hasraf ‘Haz’ Dulull who took the audience through VFX to Producing and Directing Feature Films and TV. The OTT Marketing session was guided by Shemaroo Entertainment’s Rahul Mishra. He was then joined with the leading OTT Marketing heads in the country like Avi Kumar of Zee5, Divya Dixit of ALT Balaji, and Abhishek Joshi of MX Player. The event was then taken over with a session by Prathyusha Agarwal of Zee Entertainment on Brand Building and Logo Design.
The second day of the event started with the ‘Future of Creativity’ in Augmented Reality by Emile Rademeyer. After this, there was also an intriguing conversation with Faye D’Souza on what young India wants and on News. Then it was a session with Charlie Mawer on ‘Future of TV Branding’.
Star India got 17 Golds and 18 Silver awards. Whereas, Viacom18 Media won 17 Golds and 6 Silver, Zee Entertainment Enterprises with 12 Golds, and 8 Silver andSony Pictures won 5 Golds and 10 Silver.
A new Award category was also added to Promax’s 17th India edition of Conference and Awards – Arnab Chaudhuri Award. It was awarded to Tushar from Dynamite Design.
