aawaz.com launches Urdu edition of audio network

The podcast and spoken-word audio on-demand and podcast network with 100% original audio content, aawaz.com has announced the launch of its Urdu edition. The audio network with Hindi, English, and Marathi audio programming has been live since January 2019 and now hosting a total of 1000+ hours of audio content, it has expanded to Original Audio in Urdu.

All the existing users can simply choose their preference within the app or on the website for listening to English, Hindi, Marathi, and Urdu content.

Four Urdu Original audio shows across genres including, Sher-o-Shayari, Biographies of renowned poets & authors, Nazms or Poetry and Urdu Ghazals can be accessed by the listeners of aawaz at the time of its launch. The true spirit of the language comes out with the lineup of various shows.

Stories of famous Urdu poets like Mirza Galibh, Majhrooh Sultanpuri, Kafi Azmi and many more will be narrated in signature show ‘Main Shayar Toh Nahi’. Poetry by poets like Rahat Indori, Nida Fazli, Jaun Eliya, Gulzar among others will be recited in the other show named Sher-o-Shayari.

At aawaz we would receive requests for the language, which is not just restricted to people who speak Urdu regularly.
