McDonald’s develops a mobile app to help consumer avail offers

To drive better customer experience and engagement in 2021 and beyond, McDonald’s India – North and East, plans to leverage technology, restaurant modernization and menu innovation in its 25th year of operation. McDonald’s India – North and East, has come up with a new application, McDonald’s through which consumers could avail exclusive deal offers that can be redeemed at dine-in, takeaway or drive-thru.

Through the newly developed app, the brand aims to increase engagement and magnify its customer experience by offering them #TheRealDeal and the best of McDonald’s offerings on a single platform. The McDonald’s application allows one to order McDelivery, share feedback, learn more about the menu, and much more.

Consumers can claim #TheRealDeal by following a few simple steps.

One can download the ‘McDonald’s’ app on iOS or/and Android mobile. Followed by selecting the country India – North and allow notifications and then Register by creating an account. Once registered, a bunch of offers will appear under the “Deals” section. Select on the deal to claim (at dine-in or takeaway or drive-thru) #TheRealDeal. Tap ‘Redeem’ and ‘Activate’ once at the counter which will further activate a 5-minutes timer and a QR code will appear on the screen. One will need to place the code in front of the scanner so that the deal is read and applied, within 5 minutes.
