Roposo gives a robust fillip to influencer marketing in India; launches Blogger Academy
Understanding the rising opportunity of influencer marketing for brands, Roposo – India’s favourite fashion social network – has launched India’s first virtual school, Blogger Academy, to guide bloggers to succeed as digital influencers. This move is in sync with the platform’s latest project Bizdrum – connecting fashion bloggers and celebrities with the country’s leading fashion & lifestyle brands.
Social media being a major marketing tool, and bloggers being the most influential community, Roposo’s Blogger Academy aims to formally train amateur bloggers and ensure their development in the business world. On one hand, new bloggers face unprecedented competition in a well-established influencer ecosphere and lose out on business, on the other, there is a community of bloggers doing incredible work but are unable to garner business opportunities.
How does it work?
Being the first virtual school for both upcoming and existing bloggers, the Blogger Academy will take up challenges on how to create content, increase reach, and engage with brands. Registrations to the Academy are free and open to all. The course will involve 5 online tasks with a certificate on their successful completion. The 5 modules include introduction to blogging, developing one’s brand, developing high quality content, increasing reach, and blogging for business. India’s leading influencers in the fashion domain, who already have been pioneers in the digital sphere – Sukhneet Wadhwa, Aaman Chashmawala, Shreen Lovebug, Juhi Godambe and Gia Kashyap – will be taking up one module each through educational videos of 30 minutes each.

Making the best of the Indian influencer marketing ecosphere
The Academy aims to have approximately 2000+ registrations, an offline reach of 50,000+ and a digital reach of 3 million. The fashion social network’s vision is to streamline the Indian influencer marketing ecosystem with the Blogger Academy and Bizdrum.
