Shweta Tiwari writes an emotional note for her daughter on IWD
Indian TV actress, Shweta Tiwari pens down a heartfelt note to her 20-year-old daughter Palak Tiwari on International Women’s Day. The letter is titled #MeriBetiStrong and was in reaction to a new campaign video by Clinic Plus. The letter was mainly aimed at focussing on domestic violence depicting a little girl’s perspective whose mother is being abused by her father.
Shweta Tiwari narrated the letter to her daughter through a video on Instagram where she puts out a heartfelt message to her daughter against domestic violence. She says “I have been through a lot in life, and at every step when I felt vulnerable, I pulled myself together to gather the courage and stand up for what is right, for the sake of my daughter. She has seen me through the thick and thin of my journey, has only grown up to be stronger today.”
Shweta also mentioned how many people discouraged her when she decided to take her first step against domestic violence. She added, “I may not always be around to be your shield, but I hope my experiences and right actions become a guiding light in your life, where you find the strength and integrity to face any situation.”
The new television commercial by Clinic Plus recognizes the central roles mothers play in shaping their daughters into strong individuals. Also, how that role aims at educating women about seeking help during domestic violence. The actress shared the video on Instagram and urged every woman to raise their voices against domestic violence and report domestic abuse by dialing 181.

Shweta’s daughter, Palak Tiwari is all set to make her Bollywood debut with a horror flick titled Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. She will be playing the role alongside famous Bollywood actor, Vivek Oberoi.
