Workplace From Facebook has introduced some new user friendly updates that helps enabling faster connectivity, accessibility, enhanced lighting and better post creation that showcases disruptiveness in employee engagement and connect. These updates are being introduced on a monthly basis by Workplace From Facebook.

1. Going Dark!
The new update of Workplace changes the background to black from white. The reason behind the update is that the dark color reduces eye strain as one can look at the device’s screen in low light as well. In addition to this, Workplace is also planning to instigate easier keyboard navigation, support for screen readers and improved focus management.
2. Frontline Areas
The commencement of ‘Areas’, in the Video Conferencing feature, mapping to modify the frontline workers’ experience into group based on criteria like geography, department, etc. This will empower and aid managers’ team’s access to Workplace and allow custom pop up notifications based on the area.
3. Knowledge Library
Here, one can create, store and share static content at Workplace. This may contain company’s mission & values, staff benefits or employees remote working policy.
4. Diversity & Inclusion
The new update has also brought in avant-garde inclusion of diversity and inclusion (D&I) keeping in sync the importance and relevance of D&I in today’s organisational working environment. This will in turn help entities to create surveys to measure employee satisfaction levels.
