Generation Aami reveals its two new posters
Generation Aami, an inspiring story that will touch hearts of two generations alike – revealed both its posters today through a social media Live with the lead cast Sauraseni Maitra and Rwitobroto Mukherjee.
In this special month of Bhai Phota and Children’s Day, Generation Aami will enlighten the special bond of siblings shown from the eyes of two teenagers. One poster highlights the two siblings sitting together where on one hand there are books on mathematics, science, history, etc and on the other, a guitar which Apu, the protagonist treasures as music is his inspiration.
The other poster has the full family including Aparajita Addhya (who plays Apu’s mother) and Shantilal Mukherjee (who plays Apu’s father) where everyone is shown to be entitled to their own opinion.
An intriguing thing about both the posters is that there’s a hashtag added ‘#BeingAami”, which is the umbrella campaign of the film encouraging the audience to speak out about themselves – their uniqueness, their individuality, their independence and more.
Director Mainak Bhaumik’s new and first venture with SVF, slated to release on 23rd of November, showcases 17-year-old Apu’s relationship with his parents is tested as he discovers teenage rebellion and fun in the company of his cool but troubled 19-year-old cousin Durga, who shakes things up giving him the courage to be true to himself.
