Back to charm one and all, as Poroma’s boss and mentor, with his charismatic persona, is none other than the multi-talented singer and actor Meiyang Chang. He sure has an ace up his sleeve this time around as his parents on the show will be portrayed by his real parents. Talk about being right in the skin of the character
When asked about sharing screen space with his parents, Meiyang Chang said, “This is the first time they’ve acted on camera & I am obviously over-the-moon to have them play my on-screen parents as well.”
Talking further about this cherished experience on the sets of Love Lust and Confusion Season 2, Meiyang adds, “We had to portray affection for a few scenes and it was awkward for my parents because although we love each other to bits, they aren’t very expressive about it. Also, my Mum kept joking about how at least they’re getting to attend their still-single son’s fictional marriage and that it’s high time it happened in real life too. I had a good laugh about it, but it’s definitely a point to ponder. In real life, Chang is like Poroma from the show. He loves a lot of people, but doesn’t know who he wants to be with eventually.”
Starring the likes of Tara Alisha Berry, Gaurav Chopra, Shiv Pandit, Meiyang Chang and Rajat Baremecha, the web-series tells the tale of a young girl namely Poroma and her life experiences.
