The polictical drama series, The Comey Rule starts 3rd November
ZEE Café is all set to premier the all new political drama series, The Comey Rule from Tuesday, November 3rd at 12 PM. The series is based on the book of James Comey, named A Higher Loyalty. The book is adapted on screen and directed by Billy Ray and has a cast of Oscar and Emmy® Award winners, including Brendan Gleeson. The series is all about the portrayal of President Donald Trump during re-election of 2016 in the US. House of Cards famed actor Michael Kelly plays the role of the former FBI director Andrew McCable and Academy Awards winner, Holly Hunter plays former Acting Attorney General Sally Yates.
Brendon Gleeson plays the role of the president and Jeff Daniels plays former FBI director James Comey. The Comey Rule is enthralling, behind the headlines account of historically unstable events of the year 2016 and its aftermath which divided the nation. The series tells the story of two powerful individuals, that is Trump and Comey. Their extremely different personalities, their ethics, loyalties that put them on a collision course. This is a two part series and the first part inspects the earlier days of the Russian investigation and FBI investigation on Hillary Clinton’s emails and its impact on the then, election night, where Donald Trump was elected as the 45th President of the United States of America. The next part will focus on the virtual day to day account of the tumultuous relationship between Trump and Comey and their chaotic first month under the Trump presidency – where allies became enemies, enemies became friends and truth depended on what side you were on.
The executive producer of the series is Billy Ray, Shane Salerno, Heather Kadin and Alex Kurtzman and has been produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout, Home Run Productions and The Story Factory. The series is being distributed by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group, internationally.
