Universal Pictures India and PVR INOX Announce the Kung Fu Panda 4 Dubbing Contest

Universal Pictures India, in collaboration with PVR INOX, India’s leading multiplex chain, has announced the Kung Fu Panda 4 Dubbing contest, aiming to unearth a talented Hindi voice-over artist among the Kung Fu Panda fans. Participants will have to record a video by mixing their own voice while reading the subtitles of Po’s dialogues while fulfilling the following conditions:

  • Remix this reel and record a video by reading the subtitles of Po’s dialogues
  • Follow @universalpicturesindia on Instagram
  • Tag @universalpicturesindia in the video & caption
  • Tag a friend in the caption and challenge them to remix
  • Use #KungFuPanda4 #KFP4DubContest #KungFuPanda4atPVRINOX

Submissions for the contest went live on February 7th and will end on February 16th, 2024. One lucky winner will have the opportunity to be featured in the Hindi dub version of Kung Fu Panda 4 alongside the legendary dubbing Artist Prasad Barve, known as the voice of Po in the animated feature film.

Gautam Dutta, the Co-CEO of PVR INOX Ltd, expressed his excitement, stating, “It is a matter of huge excitement to collaborate with Universal Pictures India for the Kung Fu Panda 4 Hindi dubbing contest. It will enhance the strong attachment that Indian fans have built with Po over the years. I believe this is a fantastic opportunity for people of all age groups to showcase their dubbing and mimicry skills by participating in this contest and getting a chance to be featured in the Hindi dubbed version of Kung Fu Panda 4.”

Kung Fu Panda 4 is set to release on March 15th, 2024. The story follows Po, who is tapped to become the Spiritual Leader of the Valley of Peace. He must find and train a new Dragon Warrior while a wicked sorceress plans to re-summon all the master villains Po has vanquished to the spirit realm. The film features the voice talent of returning stars Academy Award® winner Dustin Hoffman as Kung Fu master, Shifu; James Hong as Po’s adoptive father, Mr. Ping; Academy Award® nominee Bryan Cranston as Po’s birth father, Li, and Emmy Award nominee Ian McShane as Tai Lung, Shifu’s former student and arch-nemesis. Oscar® winner Ke Huy Quan has also joined the ensemble as a new character, Han, the leader of the Den of Thieves.
