Vigo Video, an app for original short-video content through various dimensions of creativity, fun and talent, organized the ‘Go Video Festival’ in New Delhi to celebrate its milestones in the market in the past year.
The festival featured an appearance from World Wrestling Entertainment superstar, The Great Khali, who is known to be an avid user of Vigo Video The global wrestling star shared his experience around using the app to engage his fans through compelling video content.
The festive event also marked the presence of two other popular content creators who have acquired a massive social media following on the app namely, Mr. Prince Kumar who hails from a small town, Kechki in Ranchi and Mr. Ramesh. The duo shared their stories of how they got started on Vigo and how the app is able to provide them with a source of income though social media.
Talking about the evening Mr. Tony Tang, Head of Vigo India shares “We’re thrilled to celebrate an amazing year in India for Vigo Video and we’re looking forward to engage more of our users in this market this 2019 through exciting campaigns and collaborations featuring their favorite celebrities and creators.”
Sharing his delight to be part of the evening The Great Khali shared “I’m truly honored to have been part of the Go Vigo Festival. Vigo Video has been a great way for me to engage my fans, most especially in this part of the world, and I’m really looking forward to creating more amazing content on this platform this year.”
Apart from the celebrity and creator appearances, another high point of the evening was the lucky draw in which Mr. Ankush won a Maruti Suzuki LXI car through a lucky draw which was conducted with everyone who was present online watching the Vigo Video event.
