Cipla Health’s Prolyte ORS educates Indians about ORS with a new TVC


A new TVC has been launched by the professional rehydration brand of Cipla Health Ltd., Prolyte ORS with the aim of educating Indians about the glucose-electrolyte solution called Oral Rehydration Salts (ORS), its correct formulation and its appropriate usage to keep dehydration at bay.

Through excessive sweating, vomiting, diarrhoea and others cause dehydration as they lead to loss of water and body salts. During diarrhoea and dehydration, consuming World Health Organization (WHO) recommended ORS enables the intestine to absorb the fluid and the salts more efficiently. This replaces the body’s lost fluids and essential salts. Minimizing the need for IV fluids helps to reduce the risk of hospitalization and health complications and thus curbing resultant severe consequences. Entailing a unique scientific formulation recommended by the WHO, Prolyte ORS offers a healthy blend of ingredients that helps in fluid maintenance in the body leading to speedy recovery within the confines of your home.

Prolyte ORS is available across medical stores and online e-commerce websites in powder form in 21 gm sachet as well as 200ml ready to drink the solution at a price of Rs. 19.53 and Rs. 29.40 respectively.
