Biiggbang Amusement appoints Nivedita Basu as Head of Content and Acquisition

The up and coming OTT Platform, Biiggbang Amusement is all gears into being one-stop hub for the cinema enthusiasts with their unique snackible content presentation. Their recent announcement of award-winning short film Rickshawala and long awaited Kala Bai from Byculla have made noise in the market and have set a base for what is to come next. Trusting with the baton of strengthening the content library, Biiggbang Amusement appoints Nivedita Basu as the Head of Content and Acquisition.

With an expansive experience sparring over two decades in production and programming, Nivedita Basu has been an integral part of the industry. With sharp eye towards content and grip on the nerve of the audience, Nivedita is applauded for revitalising old formats and giving hit shows such as Kasauti Zindagii Ki, 24, etc. In her previous stint at Channel V, she helmed the role of producer, at Anil Kapoor Film Company she was instrumental in developing one of the hit International show 24. Donning the role of deputy creative director at Balaji Telefilms, Nivedita worked closely with Ekta Kapoor and revolutionized Indian Soap series. She created more than 2,00,000 minutes of programming for the top Indian GEC’s namely Star, Zee entertainment, Sony, Channel Nine, 9X, Imagine TV and SAB TV to name a few.
