Highlighting its commitment to innovation, iTV network at a Town Hall meeting initiated on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 announced the promotion of Rishabh Gulati, managing editor, NewsX to the position of editor-in-chief.
This new structure and key elevation of Rishabh as editor-in-chief of NewsX channel aligns with company’s skilled leadership with ambitious strategic roadmap aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies and enabling next phase of growth.
Speaking on the occasion, Aishwarya Pandit Sharma, Chairperson, iTV Foundation said, “I am delighted to announce the promotion of Rishabh Gulati as editor-in-chief of NewsX. Rishabh has been instrumental in shaping NEWSX’s trajectory and is well-equipped to drive forward in its next phase of growth. “I wish him all the best in his new role. Rishabh’s vast knowledge and domain prowess will hold NewsX in good stead and will definitely help us consolidate our position further.”
A graduate in journalism from the University of Delhi, Rishabh did his Masters with distinction in International Relations from the University of Manchester, England. With 18 years of experience in broadcast news, Rishabh has worked with NDTV, India Today Network and at the age of 30 became the youngest editorial head of a national English language news channel in India, NewsX.
Rishabh is an alumnus of the Asian Forum for Global Governance 2014 (AFGG, now part of the Raisina Dialogue Fellows) and the Australia-India Youth Forum (AIYD) 2016. Rishabh has won multiple awards for broadcast journalism at the premier eNBA awards in India over the years.

In tandem with this leadership advancement, iTV network also recognised outstanding contributions with the announcement of promotions and appraisals to other staff members at the Town Hall where outstation staff joined through video conferencing.
