Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited have appointed Dr. S. Prakash and Mr. Anand Roy as Managing Directors. They have been holding JMD’s position so far and have assumed charge of their new position on 16.12.2019.
Both the MDs have been associated with the Company almost from the beginning. Dr. S. Prakash, MS, FRCS (Glasg), FAIS has joined Star Health taking insurance as a career. Mr Anand Roy who is an MBA graduate from IMI, New Delhi, has got more than 20 years of experience in Insurance field.
It is pertinent to mention that Star Health is the first stand-alone Health Insurance Company and as on date, maintains number one position in premium among stand-alone Health Insurance Companies and have been making continuous profit for the past 4 years. Star Health has brought out many innovative products for example, cardiac care, cancer care, etc. This year, they have an ambitious target of 7000 crore and are confident of completing it.
While commenting on the elevation, both of them said that they are humbled by their appointment and they will put in their best efforts to ensure that Star’s flag always fly high.
