Sharing her thoughts on some of her favourite tracks,  “Sajna Ve Sajna” and “Bhaage Re Man” from the film Chameli, Kareena Kapoor Khan delivers an empowering message to young girls, urging them to embrace their strength and individuality. “These songs just have a sense of freedom and believing in yourself because you know the character had nothing, actually, but what she had was the rain, the open sky, and that was so refreshing. That’s why those songs were so iconic. Till today, if you hear them, it just has that feeling of nostalgia, so this generation should hear these songs and get that courage and just that feeling of the open sky and the raindrops.” she says

The film Heroine featured two iconic female singers from the Bollywood industry, Shreya Ghoshal and Sunidhi Chauhan, who lent their voices to Kareena. When asked which of their voices suited her best, Kareena said, “I think that is very tough because both Shreya and Sunidhi are such amazing artists. I have had both of them sing for my characters, and it’s such an honour to have them sing for me in a special film like Heroine. Especially since that film was way ahead of its time, showcasing the life of a heroine on screen. I personally gave a lot to that film.”
