The Chainsmokers who are in India for the Road To Ultra Music Festival, met with Shridhar Subramaniam President India & Middle East Sony Music, who presented the duo with a congratulatory plaque celebrating their multi-platinum success.
Says Shridhar , “It was a packed audience, Mumbai totally loved them and the crowd went crazy singing along. Delhi, a great night awaits you, enjoy!”. Andrew Taggart on receiving the plaque said, “woohoo, love how this looks! Thank you! ”
Their songs Closer , Paris, Something Just Like This, All We Know and Don’t Let Me Down have all been certified multi platinum and continue to be on the charts, and are approaching half a billion streams in India alone. The duo will be seen performing in New Delhi tonight.
