MediaInfoline March 15, 2016

FOX Life’s flagship music series, Sound Trek is back with a power packed third season. The all new season gives us an unfiltered peek into the minds of great musicians and some electrifying performances, as they take on some of the most iconic songs of our times from Roop Tera Mastana, to Dum Maro Dum, from Chura Liya to Baahon mein Chale Aao, this is Sound Trek: That 70s Song.

Sound Trek promises an exhilarating mix of styles, cultures and personalities by capturing the musical journey of geniuses like Uday Benegal, the pioneer of Indian Rock band Indus Creed – who’s been with the series across all three seasons, Benny Dayal: the famous multi-lingual playback singer, and protégé of AR Rahman, Taufiq Qureshi: the renowned classical percussionist, Voctronica: India’s first All-Vocal Ensemble, and many new bands and performers like Hipnotribe, Your Chin, Ska Vengers and Su Real.  They create magic by bringing together modern, electrifying genres such as Electronica, Dubstep, Hip Hop and Acapella to the timeless beats of the Seventies.

Sound Trek is a strong addition to the growing list of high-quality series produced in India by Fox Networks Group.

Swati Mohan, Business Head for FOX Networks Group said, “We know the pulse of the young Urban spenders, the Indian youth that make up our core audience. They celebrate their roots, while at the same time have a great appetite for new experiences and perspectives; and this season of Sound Trek promises to be all that and more. With this new season, Fox Life is experimenting with new age styles of music. Through the years, Sound Trek has inspired artists to create great music, and audiences to re-discover these classics.”
