Playtoome Originals aims at 1000 content partnerships this FY
India’s first online live entertainment platform, Playtoome has announced the target of 1000 content partnerships this year. The contents will be under its new vertical – Playtoome Original and the brand will be providing an opportunity to the music artists to showcase their creations.
The entertainment platform will take care of the promotion, monetization, and distribution of the contents for the unrecognized artists. The first single of the platform, Alvida, is composed by the Kannada musician Vinay Chandra in remembrance of the Late Actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The song was launched under the Playtoome Original in the month of February 2021 and received a wonderful response.
“We knew this was the right time for the launch of Playtoome originals. Since the launch in February 2021, we have seen the number of viewers going up. We have already tied up with content creators so that we can help them with the post-production part including- distribution, monetization, and promotion. The content is accessible across different platforms under the banner of Playtoome Originals. This way we are not just a platform anymore, but also enablers of quality content. To widen the portfolio, we are in aggressive talks with performing arts organizations, Studio’s PAN India, to explore content collaborations giving 100s of talent the first stage,” said Mr. Keerthivasan Subramanian- Founder & CEO, Playtoome.
The new platform will be providing hundreds of creations like dance, songs, drama, etc., under the new platform by the year-end. The parent platform was established in the year 2016, in Bengaluru / Singapore aimed at connecting artists with their fans irrespective of their boundaries. There are not many live performance entertainment options for people in tier 2 and tier 3 cities in the nation. Also, there is a good scope for artists in this digital era, to get acknowledgment from the nation-wide audiences in the most convenient manner.
