Closing 2015 on a winning note, global music giant Sony Music Entertainment leads Apple Music’s Best of 2015 list across multiple categories. Making a huge mark by topping the itunes charts across multiple categories, the Best of 2015 list was selected by a team of music experts declaring:
- Dilwale by Pritam as the Best Bollywood Album
- Kadhal Kanmani by A.R. Rahman as the Best Album
- DJ Waley Babu as Best song
- Divine as the Best New Artist for Meri Gully Mein
- Thani Oruvan by Hiphop Thamizha as the Best Tamil Album of the year 2015
Dilwale as a album has surpassed all expectations and is now the most searched and loved album of 2015. Sony Music artists Badshah and Divine have been able to create a niche in the market. Badshah has now become a Bollywood name to reckon with while Divine’s growing popularity will see him create great music in 2016. Sony Music’s long standing association with A R Rahman has fructified with yet another musical hit in the album Kadhal Kanmani and Thani Oruvan by Hiphop Thamizha has become a cross over song and an instant hit with the youth.
