It is an inclusive and wholistic budget that caters to all segments of society and industry. What is heartening to see is that the government has put lot of emphasis on education sector. Announcement such as making India an education hub attracting foreign students will bring in positive change in the sector and over all education sector. Budget rightly appreciates the need of industry ready skill development and employment along with need of research & development and infrastructural development to boost investment in the economy. The comprehensive restructuring of national highway programme and developing other connectivity under Bharat Mala project will provide significant boost to the tourism and hospitality sector. Developing 17 iconic world-class tourist sites is an example that shows how the government has done its homework for utilising India’s soft powers to channelize more investments and boost the spending as well.
