Launch of magazine – Travellers’ World

A few travel lovers from mainstream Media industry formally announced today the first issue of their print magazine Travellers’ World. The team chose to celebrate the special moment at Reader’s Café, Noida in Delhi NCR in the presence of a few people from the area of  journalism, Photography, Digital and graphic designing, brand and others.

The quarterly published travel magazine will focus on Stories and Covers related to topics from the Travel and tourism industry , environment, wildlife, conservation, Photography, Interviews of celebrities from various fields, Investigative stories from travel and conservation, news from the industry, Food Travel, readers’ interactive pages, Reviews of Hotels/resorts etc.

The Managing Editor Anirban Dasgupta who has been associated with media houses like ABP, Indian Express and The Hindu in the past has expressed his gratitude for the strong support of the friends and colleagues that went a long way to make this dream project into reality. He also said that “ we are going to make TW as an idea exchange platform for all the travel lovers ; a medium where both a common citizen can share his/her views and opinions about the environment , bio-diversity wildlife and tourism and also people holding positions of power and responsibilities in the tourism  fraternity.”

Piyali Bose, Associate Editor and Co Founder told us “both the print and online version of Travellers’ World ( www.travellersworldonline.com) would aim at being the first choice of the serious travel lovers, where they can not only collect the latest information, views and news of the industry but also be a part of the movement. We will also have regular section on the forgotten art of ‘Post Crossing’.”

The launch event was a small and informal gathering in the Sunday afternoon at the cozy book café. There were some light music and discussions over coffee followed by cake cutting.
