Aaj Ki Retro News completes 200 episodes on Facebook
A few months back, Radio Nasha launched Aaj Ki Retro News with RJ G9 Divya Solgama, in which the RJ shares old rare magazines LIVE with the listeners from the 1960s till early 2000s. The speciality of the show is that the magazines shared are rare and do not have any hard copies or online editions available.
Recently, the show completed 200 episodes and the National Award Winning Director Madhur Bhandarkar appeared on the show to mark the occasion. The episode was full of nostalgia and interesting conversations. The director was amazed to see the rarest of rare magazine collection and the details shared by G9. RJ G9 Divya Solgama is an ultimate film fan and historian who owns a personal collection of about 6000-7000 Hindi films dating as back as 1913. Apart from these movies, the RJ’s collection also include many unreleased songs, regional songs, unreleased movies and over 3000 old film magazines.
Aaj Ki Retro News has already featured 700-800 magazines till date and loads of considerations with them. The RJ also shared special editions on top celebrities’ birthdays, film anniversaries, etc. Some of the special editions include birthdays of Shahrukh Khan, Tabu, Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Raveena Tandon and many more.
