Comedy Central kicks off Spread The Cheer Campaign with fun-filled Football tournament
Launching its iconic happiness campaign Spread The Cheer, Comedy Central presented a fun-filled Football tournament to brighten up the season of joy and giving. With an aim to spread merriment, the brand organized a friendly tournament between Slum Soccer Krida Vikas Sanstha and Roots FA, bringing together kids who are passionate for the sport, to play with professionals and celebrities. Comedy Central presented the Football tournament at St. Andrews Turf, Mumbai on December 20.
Mumbai witnessed an entertaining match as celebrities such as Dino Morea, Azeem Banatwalla, Mandana Karimi, Gabriela Demetriades along with founder of Roots Academy, Santino Morea and Harpreet Baweja, were seen playing an intense game with the Slum Soccer team.
Excited about Comedy Central’s initiative- Spread The Cheer, Dino Morea exclaimed, “I am really happy to be participating in the ‘Spread The Cheer’ initiative by Comedy Central. It was a great match with the team of Slum Soccer Krida Vikas Sanstha. These children are really talented and I’m sure they enjoyed playing football as much as we did today.
