India by IndiGo is all set to celebrate Goa Carnival at five airports

India by IndiGo is a cultural expedition campaign by IndiGo aimed at celebrating the diverse culture of the country. Under this campaign, IndGo will celebrate India’s rich culture with the lined-up festivals. The campaign was kickstarted on Durga Puja 2020 and has been cheering up customers during Diwali, Christmas. Now, the airlines will be spreading happiness for the Goa Carnival from 7th February to 16th February 2021, under India by IndiGo campaign. IndiGo will be celebrating the carnival at all five of its stations, namely Hyderabad, Delhi, Goa, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.

Mr. William Boulter, Chief Commercial Officer, IndiGo said, “We have been celebrating India’s cultural diversity and vivaciousness over the last few months through the ‘India by IndiGo’ campaign. We kickstarted this campaign to bring about the much-needed cheer for our customers traveling during the festive season and beyond, with celebratory dances, music, food, motifs, and traditional costumes that signify the festival mood in full swing. From Durga Puja through Diwali, Christmas, and now Goa Carnival, we wholeheartedly welcome our customers to celebrate with us as they travel onboard our lean, clean, flying machine”.

As a part of the Goa Carnival celebrations, there will be a Goan dance at the stations of all these airports. The staff will be dressed in the traditional clothing of the state and all the boarding announcements will be made in English and Konkani. There have also been various kinds of activities organized (on a temporary basis) at the airports for the passengers such as hand paint activities, a photo booth for pictures in traditional clothes and masks, and distribution of masks for kids. In addition to all of these, there will also be an introduction of a special Goan food menu as a part of 6E tiffin. The food menu will also include veg and non-veg Xacuti and will be available on flights only between Hyderabad, Delhi, Goa, Mumbai, and Bangalore. for travel dates between February 12 to February 17, through pre-booking on IndiGo’s website. The campaign has been promoted via OOH, activations in these airports, and through digital channels such as social media, emailers, and social media.
