Travelxp’s latest installment in its IP led travel format 10 Days Sweden premieres July 19th, 2025. Created in collaboration with the Embassy of Sweden, the series explores Sweden through the lens of slow travel and everyday authenticity, highlighting local culture, routines, and real-world interactions over fast-paced sightseeing.
The 10 Days format is a part of Travelxp’s broader storytelling approach, focusing on ten-day journeys that go beyond surface-level highlights. In the Sweden edition, the series moves beyond tourist hotspots to highlight everyday moments, like sharing a casual coffee break known as fika in small-town cafés or exploring local open-air markets in Uppsala that offer fresh produce, handmade goods, and a glimpse into community life. Unlike traditional travel content that races through heavy tourist checklists, this series allows the viewer to spend time in each setting experiencing it with purpose and depth.
Hosted by Robbie James, the show maintains an observational, conversational tone. His subtle presence allows the destinations and local stories to take center stage. The series features culturally significant locations, such as the ABBA Museum and the historic Östermalms Saluhall, alongside architectural highlights like Mårten Trotzigs Gränd, Sweden’s narrowest street, and centuries-old structures that reflect the country’s layered history. These buildings are more than visual landmarks; they serve as enduring records of Sweden’s cultural and architectural evolution. Each episode contributes to a cohesive narrative that blends heritage, local life, and modern identity.
For Travelxp 10 Days Sweden is not only a content initiative it is a positioning tool. As audiences increasingly seek connection of sustainability and culture in their travel decisions, the series aligns with a global consumer shift toward responsible and reflective tourism. Filmed in 4K and produced with Travelxp’s high production values, it is also optimized for multi-platform distribution across broadcast OTT and syndication.
“It was a complete joy filming 10 Days Sweden” says host Robbie James. “Sweden encourages you to slow down and look around. We wanted that to come through clearly to make the viewer feel like they are part of the moment not just watching from a distance.”
“10 Days Sweden is a reminder that storytelling doesn’t have to shout to be heard” said Vedant Shivpuri, director of the show. “I hope the show resonates around the world because it’s culturally specific to Sweden, yet globally relatable, with a format that adapts seamlessly across platforms and audiences.”
