Thomas Cook India sets up its Holidays Outlet in Jammu


Thomas Cook (India) Limited inaugurated its first Gold Circle Partner franchise outlet in Jammu that focuses on leveraging the growth potential of the place. The consumers of the region will get to avail Thomas Cook Indias extensive range of end-to-end travel solutions, such as Travel Insurance, Visa Services, and international & domestic holidays (group tours, personalized and luxury holidays, cruises, etc.). The Thomas Cook outlet will also be offering Assured Safe Travel Program in association with Apollo Clinics and smooth COVID-negative certification services, to build consumer confidence in travel. Additionally, the leading travel brand is also offering Thomas Cook Indias Doctor on Call 24×7 and Safe Holiday Helpline services, especially during the COVID era.

As per the Holiday Readiness Report of Thomas Cook India, 89% of respondents are keenly interested in resuming travel. And, another 71% needs the guidance of a holiday expert and hence would prefer to visit an outlet/Virtual Store/video chat to plan their holidays. Therefore, Thomas Cook (India) Limited has set up its first Holiday outlet in Bahu Plaza, Jammu. 

Jammu Traveller Trends/ Behaviour: During the lockdown, Jammu-based consumers are showing remarkable demand for travel. Their favorite summer holiday destinations include Himachal Pradesh, Goa, Andamans, Kerala, in India and international destinations include Russia, Dubai, Turkey, Egypt, and Maldives. The travelers are from Jammu are showing interest in the non-standard elements like accommodation in a villa, haveli/fort, or a plantation bungalow amidst tea – coffee estates.
