The “Call Mom” product capsule, the first collaboration of Reebok and NYC-based social issues/awareness platform and fashion brand, Collina Strada was announced and revealed today. The unique twist of the Classic Leather from Reebok and iconic Collina Strada flair in the Classic Leather Legacy is boldly captured in the “Call Mom” product capsule.

Reebok International Ltd., headquartered in Boston, MA, USA, is a leading worldwide designer, marketer
and distributor of fitness and lifestyle footwear, apparel and equipment. An American-inspired global
brand, Reebok is a pioneer in the sporting goods industry with a rich and storied fitness heritage.

The inspiration for the collaboration came to Collina Strada Founder Hillary Taymour years ago during one of her shows, “I was so busy, I kept forgetting to call my mom back. I had notes all around my apartment to ‘Call Mom’ and then it just stuck.”

Taymour hopes that this drop serves as a reminder, “…to check in with your loved ones during this time. Everyone’s going through problems… just make sure you write everyone to let them know you’re safe.”

In tandem, the sustainable textiles in the designs also remind us we are never too busy to care for our environment. Reebok x Collina Strada is committed to incorporating sustainable materials into their future collaborations; both the Classic Leather models in the capsule feature at least 30% recycled materials on the upper.

The Classic Leather Legacy ($100) comes in Core Black with a Luminous Lilac overlay brush stroke detail, while the Classic Leather ($100) features Stucco brush strokes on one foot and Digital Glow brush strokes on the other. Both don a “Call Mom” detail written on the heel and Collina Strada logo in the window box.

The Reebok X Collina Strada collection is available beginning April 14th at select Reebok stores, Superkicks India and online at starting INR 7,999.
