A happy family is but an earlier heaven – true to this spirit people in the Bhojpuri region seek to associate themselves with a strong identity finding bonhomie & security within their own family. Bhojpuri entertainment often becomes the social glue that unifies the family together. With the entire household now spending quality time together, family-viewing has contributed tremendously to the spike in viewership. This has been further reinforced by the surge in family viewership during this unprecedented time. Catering to this growing preference for family-based programming during the day, ZEE Biskope curated Family Chokha Film Festival with a special bouquet of family-based movies placed in the 09:30 AM Family Chokha band between 11-15 May 2020.

Evoking the emotions of bonding and togetherness, the Family Chokha Film Festival, is themed ‘Family ke liye kuch bhi karega’ – the zeal to contribute out of the way for the wellbeing of the family.
