Libas, India’s first tech-enabled Indian wear ultra-fast fashion brand, has unveiled Lal Ishq – A Celebration of First Karwa Chauth, a campaign that explores the cultural significance and emotional nuances of a newlywed bride celebrating Karwa Chauth for the first time.
The campaign unfolds across three parts, capturing the key moments of the occasion. From the bride’s festive transformation through traditional shringar and dressing up for the day, to the rituals and pooja that bring families together, Lal Ishq celebrates the customs that make Karwa Chauth meaningful. The final chapter captures the much-awaited moonrise and the traditional sieve ritual shared by the bride and her husband, marking a cherished milestone in their journey together.
Through Lal Ishq, Libas brings festive fashion into a larger cultural narrative, positioning clothing as an integral part of how consumers prepare for and experience meaningful occasions. The campaign draws on the emotional significance of a bride’s first Karwa Chauth while reflecting the role of Indian wear in contemporary festive celebrations.
Nisha Khatri, Head of Marketing, Libas, said, “At Libas, we see Indian wear as an integral part of how women experience and express themselves during important cultural occasions. Lal Ishq brings this thought to life through a milestone that holds particular significance for a newlywed bride. By capturing the journey from festive preparations to the rituals of Karwa Chauth, we wanted to show how clothing becomes part of the experience and the memories associated with it. The campaign reflects our approach to making culturally rooted fashion relevant to the contemporary Indian woman.”
With Lal Ishq, Libas continues to build on culturally relevant storytelling, connecting its festive fashion offering with the traditions, relationships and occasions that shape consumer experiences.
