Rapido Collaborates With HPCL to Deliver Meaningful Benefits for Over 3.8 Lakh Captains in Hyderabad

Rapido, India’s largest ride‑sharing platform, today announced a strategic partnership with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), a Central Public Sector Enterprise in the oil and gas sector, to provide substantial vehicle maintenance benefits for its Bike Taxi and Cab Captains. This collaboration highlights the shared commitment of HPCL and Rapido to improving the livelihoods of platform drivers while fostering a positive societal impact. The initiative will initially launch in Hyderabad, with plans to expand to 11 cities across India.

The partnership was formally announced at a joint event held at the Sri Mallikarjuna HPCL Station in Hyderabad. The event was attended by senior officials from HPCL, HP Vaahn, and Rapido.

Designed to support over 3.8 lakh Captains across Bike and Cab services, the initiative includes:

  • 1.25% fuel discount at all HPCL outlets in Hyderabad
  • 50% off on HP Lubricant and HP Vaahn Kit

These benefits are available at more than 300 HPCL stations in Hyderabad, with HP Lubricant and HP Vaahn Kit services offered at 10+ select locations. These measures aim to reduce captains’ financial burden, enhance their earnings, and enable them to focus on delivering quality service to customers.
