#BeingEfficient: Inspiring Photo-Contest to Help Promote Energy & Water Conservation

Energy and water are two key resources that all of us depend on. The answer to ensure the security of these resources is in efficiently using and conserving them. Grundfos India, a trendsetter in water technology, is organizing a photo-contest called #BeingEfficient on its social media platforms, ‘Ek Boondh Pani’ and ‘i Save Energy’ on Facebook till November 24, 2016.

The theme of the contest is based on how energy and water can inspire us to create a sustainable world. The objective of this contest is to highlight how by being efficient individuals can help reduce energy and water consumption and thereby create a cleaner, greener and sustainable planet.

Details of the #BeingEfficientcontest:

  • Participants need to post their photographs using the hashtag #BeingEfficienton the ‘Ek Boondh Pani’ (facebook.com/EkBoondhPani) and ‘i Save Energy’ (www.facebook.com/ISaveEnergy/)page in order to enter the contest
  • Any number of photographs per person can be posted
  • The photograph/s need to express aninspiring experience involving energy or water
  • The photograph/s, in its entirety, must be an original photograph taken by the contest entrant
  • The last day to submit the entries is November 24, 2016 (6 PM ISTD)
  • Refer to the details of the contest rules and judging process have been posted on the page
  • The shortlisted pictures will be posted on both the social media platforms for public voting from November 25– 30, 2016
  • Thereafter the final entries will be judged by Grundfos India and the result will be announced on December 5

The top three photographs will win:

  • 1st Prize:iPad Mini 2
  • 2nd Prize: Sony Smart Watch
  • 3rd Prize: Sony Digital Music Player

Another six photographs / entrants will also get exciting consolation prizes.
