Veteran Marathi actor Ashok Saraf was conferred with the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Mahesh Manjrekar was honoured with the Pride of Marathi Soil Award. The awards stood as a symbol of pride, unity, and excellence, celebrating visionaries and achievers who have elevated the Marathi ethos to greater heights. Each awardee reflected a distinct facet of Maharashtra’s rich cultural heritage, spanning cinema, theatre, music, and social impact. Moreover, Zee 24 Taas has launched a heartfelt campaign titled ‘Fakt Ladh Mhana’ to support the children of flood-affected farmers in Marathwada, ensuring their education continues uninterrupted. Conceptualized as a long-term movement, Fakt Ladh Mhana identifies affected students across the region and spotlights two to three new cases daily, bringing sustained attention to their needs. Several celebrities present at the awards have pledged support, with some committing to sponsor students’ education up to the 10th standard.
