News18 Marathi is set to present Mukta Sanman 2026, an initiative that honours extraordinary women who have carved inspiring paths through determination and hard work. The prestigious awards continue to recognise changemakers who embody strength, self-belief, and the spirit of empowerment across Maharashtra.
The evening was graced by eminent personalities, including celebrated actors like Varsha Usgaonkar, Pushkar Shrotri, Umesh Kamat and Shreya Bugade.
The presence of distinguished leaders like Rahul Narwekar, Speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, and Madhuri Misal, Member of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, highlighted the wider recognition of the initiative in recognising women’s contributions to society.
This year’s awardees include Mitali Sethi, Komal Gaikwad, Poonam Patil, Deepali Khobragade, Minakshi Nikam, Papita Malve, Kiran Gedam, Venu Randive, Reena Nat, Seema Mandvi, Parvati Phunde, and Mangal Avale, each of whom has demonstrated exceptional commitment in their respective journeys.
Adding further prestige to the evening, the Lifetime Achievement Awards were conferred upon veteran actress Usha Nadkarni and renowned entrepreneur Kalpana Saroj, both icons of resilience and inspiration who have paved the way for generations to come.
