Garmin India Pvt. Ltd has roped in Indian model, actress and sports enthusiast Saiyami Kher as its brand influencer to promote its smart wearable across leading social media platforms.
The sports and fitness technology firm, Garmin said its association with Saiyami is aimed to curate fitness in every individual lifestyle.
Commenting on its association with the model, Mr. Ali Rizvi, National Sales Manager- GARMIN India Pvt Ltd said: “We feel honored to have an association with India’s leading actress and model Saiyami Kher, who is the role model for young generation in India. We are really motivated as she has agreed to be a part of our brand, Garmin. As a fitness and sports technology firm, GARMIN always endeavors to support fitness related activities. We are very hopeful that this association will surely set a benchmark in the world of fitness.”
Mr Rizvi further pointed out that GARMIN India and the actress have a sole agenda of being a ‘messenger of fitness and sports.’ “In last few years, the sense of physical fitness has grown in the society. This demonstrates that people from all walks of life are accommodating some physical activity in their daily routine.”

Garmin known for its range of Global Positioning System (GPS) is currently expanding its operations in India. It reported 100 % growth in volumes, last year. It plans to set-up six more outlets across major Indian cities this year. Garmin offers smart wearables across price points with dedicated devices for golf and cycling activities amongst a range of other products.
