India Today Group announces Siddharth Zarabi to be the Group Editor of Print, TV and Digital. Sidhharth has been working with the group for four years. With this new position, he will be reporting Aroon Purie, Editor-in-Chief, for Print and to Kallie Purie for Digital and TV.
The Group also announced Alok Nair to take independent charge of overall SBU (Strategic Business Unit). Alok, who has been serving as COO for Business Today for 4 years, will take up the new role and report directly to Dinesh Bhatia, Group CEO, India Today Group.
On the elevations, Kallie Purie says, “Siddharth has been with us for just 4 years, yet already feels like an ITG homegrown talent. With this, he completes Aroon Purie’s vision of a unified, synergistic business vertical across Print, TV and Digital.”
She further says, “Alok has seamlessly integrated into our ethos and systems. No small feat – ours is an elite force, and only the top guns survive and thrive here. Alok has played a key role in scaling up the BT business. He’s full of energy, ideas – and beans (magic ones). I have no doubt he will take BT to even greater heights as he takes independent charge of the overall SBU.”
