SFFILM And TWITTER Announce Live Stream Partnership

SFFILM announced today a collaboration with Twitter as the official livestream broadcast partner for the 2017 San Francisco International Film Festival’s special tribute to actor and humanitarian Shah Rukh Khan.

Global fans of Shah Rukh Khan, who has more than 24 million followers on Twitter, will be able to join the audience for Brett Ratner’s onstage interview with the Bollywood superstar live from the historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco. The livestream will be available worldwide to audiences on Twitter and connected devices starting at 9:00am IST on Saturday, April 15 (8:30 pm pst on Friday, April 14). The experience integrates live conversations utilizing Twitter polls and questions from the Twitter audience using the hashtag #SRKSFFILM, providing the opportunity to connect and participate from anywhere in the world.

The stream will be available globally on Friday night at SFFILM.twitter.com and on @SFFILM.

The live streaming event from SFFILM will also include opportunities for advertisers, including packages with television style mid-roll spots, combined with original clips produced by SFFILM, available for sponsorship and promotion on Twitter.
