2021 Carandbike Awards Announces The Best In The Business
The prestigious 2021 carandbike Awards were conferred to the best in the automobile industry. The awards were recently announced in a grand ceremony held at the JW Marriott Hotel, Aerocity, New Delhi.
The occasion was graced by some of the most illustrious leaders of the Indian Automobile industry. The winners of the 2021 carandbike Awards in the mentioned industry were felicitated among the highly celebrated gathering of industry stalwarts including reputed officials, journalists and auto enthusiasts.
The juries who were engaged in the evaluation for the 2021 carandbike awards comprised Gul Panag, Gaurav Gill, Jens Meiners(Vice-Chairperson World Car awards) and other eminent, experienced, and multi-skilled jurors. The carandbike awards have the distinction of having India’s most voted for Viewers’ Choice categories as well.
The winners selected by the jury members had to undergo stringent assessments by two separate juries for cars and two-wheelers at the Buddh International Circuit, Greater Noida. After two days of elaborate assessment, followed by voting, the winners of the 2021 carandbike awards were chosen. The votes and data were validated by Grant Thornton.
On account of the recent 2021 carandbike Awards, there were over 80 cars, and scooters in the nominee list across 45 categories.
The Car of the Year was given to Kia Sonet, Motorcycle of the Year was conferred to Royal Enfield Meteor 350 while Scooter of the Year was bagged by Ather 450X which beats the likes of Royal Enfield, Honda and other stalwart brands of the industry.
The Param Shresth Award was presented to Dr. Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, Mahindra & Mahindra for Outstanding Contribution to India’s Automobile Sector. Dr. Pawan Munjal, Chairman and Managing Director, Hero MotoCorp was bestowed the CNB Visioneer of the Year. Mr. Kookhyun Shim, MD & CEO, Kia Motors India, was awarded the prestigious CNB Business Leader of the Year for the outstanding sales, marketing and market share capture in the competitive Indian car market. Pratvap Bose, Vice President, Global Design, Tata Motors was honoured with CNB Person of the Year 2021
